Slovenia, the small country in between the Alps and the Mediterranean with great resources for us flyfishermens. Marvelous waterfalls, fantastic georges and rivers with crystal clear water. It's a fantastic place for all flyfishermens,
The Soca river is one of the most beatiful rivers in Europé. It's runns from tha Alps above Trenta and enters into the Doblar hydroelectric power plants dam 65 km below it's source. Other fantastic rivers are the Idrijca, Baca, Tolminka and Trebuscica which have their own fantastic characters.. Over 150 km of fishingwaters in the area so that you always can find your own hot spot and have a great flyfishing experience! Trophy graylings, great browns, rainbow trout and the great marble trout can be caught in the Soca valley.
My favorite river is the Baca! One of the river with the clearest water. Baca have some faster rapids and some deep pools where you can have great fishing after genuine marble trout, great graylings, brown trout and rainbows.
